| Nestled in the Appalachian foothills of Northeast Georgia, the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing creativity and protecting the natural and historical resources of the Sautee and Nacoochee Valleys and surrounding area. The SNCA maintains the Sautee Nacoochee Center, a thriving cultural and community center housed in a restored rural schoolhouse, offering a Theatre, twin Art Galleries, Art Studio, History Museum, Environmental Studies Room, Conference Facilities and a new Folk Pottery Museum. The Association established Sautee Nacoochee as an official historic district and one of "The Best 100 Small Arts Towns in America." TOUR EVENT: The Center Gallery and Gallery Too presently have on display the varied artwork of Josef Mahler in the "Amazing(ly) Grace(ful)" exhibit. This show will run through July 3. You will find paintings, sculpture, woodturned art, pottery,fiber art, and much much more. Coming up July 9 through August 15 the galleries will present the "Celebrating Appalachian Life" exhibits.
