| Main Street Gallery is located in a renovated, historic storefront in downtown Clayton. The three floors of the gallery abound with artwork by over seventy-five individuals from all over the U.S. and some from abroad. There is also a large selection of fine gifts from the region and imports from England, Italy, Germany, France, and Israel. TOUR EVENT: On Saturday June 12th there will be artist demonstrations taking place indoors and out. Travis Barnes of Tiger will be demonstrating lathe turning from 10 - 2 in front of the gallery. His beautifully crafted vessels made from local woods will be on display and for sale. Also from 10 - 2 Marsha Vrono of Atlanta will present a trunk show of her one-of-a-kind crystal necklaces, bracelets and earrings. From 2 - 4 Charlene Fisch of Clayton will be creating license plate art. Working with the actual metal plates, she cuts, files and paints designs with vivid acrylics. The results? Fanciful and quirky bracelets and ornaments. She has been known to work her painting magic on mops, hammers, fans and cigar stands! Come meet these three talented local artists who love to talk about their art. |
